Clear Heart Counselling
Trauma, Grief and Life Transitions Counselling in Auchtermuchty, Fife and Online
You are welcome to take your time before getting in touch. There is no pressure to know exactly what to say before contacting me.
I’m Paula, a person-centred counsellor based in Fife.
I specialise in trauma, grief and life transitions.
I offer counselling in person, online and outdoors.
I work with clients across Fife, Scotland and throughout the UK.
My approach is gentle, collaborative and validating.
In our first sessions we will explore what has brought you to counselling. We will look at what is happening in your life just now, how it feels, and how it is affecting you.
From there we begin building a therapeutic relationship so you feel safe and supported in your work with me.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by change.
This may include the end of a relationship, the impact of abuse, a significant loss or a shift in identity or direction.
These experiences can show up as anxiety, depression, anger, addiction or self-injury.
I also support people navigating domestic abuse, chronic health conditions, spiritual concerns and the emotional impact of major life events such as job loss.
I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and cultures.
I offer a space that is thoughtful, inclusive and grounded.
Counselling can be a way of reconnecting with yourself.
While therapy does not “fix” you it can support change, personal growth and greater insight, helping you see your situation from a wider perspective.
I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling.
To begin counselling, you can contact me by email or phone with your details and a brief message. I offer in-person sessions in Fife and online counselling across Scotland and throughout the UK.
If you would prefer to book a session directly rather than have a phone conversation first, that is absolutely fine.
I understand it can feel daunting reaching out to someone new.
